To support and play a role in the center of the startup community in the US, DG opened its Incubation center in San Francisco, DG717. DG also welcomed the mayor of San Francisco during the opening ceremony.
Speakers included: Biz Stone, Co-Founder of Twitter, and John Underkoffler, Chief Scientist of Oblog Industries (famous for his user interface research in the movie “Minority Report”). The day before the conference, Digital Garage hosted the “Onlab Global Pitch Contest,” a presentation of DG’s portfolio companies and graduates from DG’s Open Network Lab incubation program.
