The themes of 2017 were “Augmented Human” and “Sustainable Tech”. Day1 was titled as “Augmenting Humanity for the AI Era” and covered the most recent research on technologies that enhance human abilities such as AI (artificial intelligence), wearables, robotics, and MR (mixed reality). On Day2, titled “Food Tech for a Cleaner World”, we discussed various food-related technologies such as cultured food, creating novel food, and sustainable farming using AI and biotechnology. To close the two-day event, we hosted a sustainable food party where guests were able to try food that was presented during the day.
